The Pass Plus Scheme

Pass Plus is backed by Car Insurance companies, Central Government and the Driving Standards Agency. It is designed to make newly qualified drivers become better drivers and may entitle you to a discount on your car insurance.

The Pass Plus course consists of six specially designed driver training sessions which you take after you have passed your practical test. Your Pass Plus driving instructor will guide you as you drive in Town, out of town, in all weathers, at night, on dual carriageways and on the Motorway. There is no test to take, when your instructor is satisfied that you have achieved or exceeded the required standard you will receive a certificate from the DSA.

The course is normally 6 hours and can be taken in either your own car or one of the school cars at a cost of between £145 to £195 per course

Extra lessons if required can normally be taken at an hourly rate, always talk to you instructor to find out what will happen if you don't quite come up to the required standard, normally a little more time will get you there.
